Pr\u00e1v\u011b z toho d\u016fvodu tato dieta nese sv\u016fj n\u00e1zev proteinov\u00e1. Nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed v\u00fdhodou t\u00e9to diety je, \u017ee redukce hmotnosti prob\u00edh\u00e1 na \u00fakor tukov\u00fdch z\u00e1sob, zat\u00edmco svalov\u00e1 hmota z\u016fst\u00e1v\u00e1 zachov\u00e1na. T\u00edm v\u00fdrazn\u011b sni\u017eujeme jo-jo efekt, kter\u00fd m\u016f\u017ee nastat.
